The formal parent body within our school is the Parent Community Network (Formerly P&F)
We are truly blessed here at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School, to have such a committed and effective Parent Community Network (PCN) who work with us to provide quality-learning experiences for our children and to develop a strong sense of belonging and connectedness in our community.
The PCN follows the P&F constitutional guidelines of the Diocese and supports the social, material and educational well-being of the school community. As well as liaising with the parish, the school and parent teams, it coordinates and encourages parental involvement in many aspects of school life.
We hold one general meeting per term, and the AGM at the end of the year. The AGM is held in Term 4 and we encourage any interested parents to nominate for positions. Decisions about our activities and allocation of funds are made at these meetings and reports are provided by the co-ordinators of various areas within the school.
The Diocesan Parent Council has developed an important role across our schools and receives strong support from the OLR Parent Community Network.
